Afghanistan 2013
In August 2013 I taught cello for a week at the Afghanistan National Institute of Music, where my brother William taught violin 2010-14. Luckily for me my brother's position on Afghanistan brought him into contact with several members of the Afghan royal family, two of whom I had the privilege of meeting.
