Last Great-Grandchildren of Queen Victoria

When I started this website, there were six living great-grandchildren of Queen Victoria. They were, in order of death, Queen Ingrid of Denmark (28 Mar 1910 - 7 Nov 2000), Captain Alexander Ramsay of Mar (21 Dec 1919 - 20 Dec 2000), Count Sigvard Bernadotte of Wisborg (7 Jun 1907 - 4 Feb 2002), Princess Beatriz of Spain, Princess Torlonia (22 Jun 1909 - 22 Nov 2002), Lady [Princess] Katherine Brandam [of Greece] (4 May 1913 - 2 Oct 2007), Count Carl Johan Bernadotte of Wisborg (31 Oct 1916 - 5 May 2012). With the death of Count Carl Johan, a royal generation that also included George VI & Edward VIII of the United Kingdom, George II, Alexander I & Paul I of Greece, Carol II of Romania, and the ill-fated Romanov children was gone for good.

The last surviving grandchild of Queen Victoria was Princess Alice of Albany, Countess of Athlone, who was born February 25, 1883 and died January 3, 1981.

The last surviving descendant of Queen Victoria born during her lifetime was her great-grandson Prince Wolfgang of Hesse, who was born November 6, 1896 and died July 12, 1989.
