Copenhagen

On July 24, 2000, while attending the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Germany, four friends and I went to Copenhagen, capital of the Kingdom of Denmark. This was my first visit to a current European monarchy. We had a wonderful time and saw many important royal landmarks, some of which are pictured here.

Statue of King Frederik VII (1808-1863), Christiansborg Palace

Statue of King Christian IX (1818-1906), Christiansborg Palace

Amelienborg Palace
